We had fun changing the black hutch this week. I think that it turned out beautifully. My latest passion is for the clear glass. I have collected quite a few pieces.I don’t know which frog is my favorite…..Shouldn’t your stitching corner always have a silver tray filled with your supplies?
We just finished framing this one for our friend Norma. She does incredible work. This is called counted needlepoint. It is stitched from a graph like cross stitch onto unprinted canvas. It uses a lot of different stitches, creating beautiful dimension and intricate patterns. This is embellished with beads and metallic threads. Beautiful job Norma!
Remember our work in progress? Well, we have added to our department…. The books have now taken over a book rack and we have added a few more threads. This new line is called Lizbet and we have just started with an assortment of 20 and 40 weight. We will be adding to the line and adding even more sizes! We hope that you will enjoy this beautiful thread department in the shop.
The perfect Valentine frog. Isn’t she pretty! A tiny one that has holes on the small side. This size would be perfect for laying tools and a pair or two of scissors. What a great color, I just couldn’t resist! My wonderful Aunt sent me this beautiful dish. It is heavy glass, and cut beautifully. One of our largest ones yet….
