We had our annual pumpkin decorating party this weekend. We had a ball! I wanted to show you the dessert that I made. It is a Martha Stewart idea, but I used a different recipe for the glass. Taylor thought it was really glass and that even if we took the shards out they wouldn’t be safe to eat….. pretty convincing!
Our Wednesday group had a little Halloween party this week. It was just the usual party until Russ brought in the cupcakes! He is so much fun… Of course I had to spoil the sugar fest and brought in the veggie plate. But as you can tell, it wasn’t the most popular dish on the table. I put together a few new Halloween displays, as the cabinet is quite bare this week. The frogs seem to sell faster than I can find them and I needed to fill in the cabinet. The glass box looks cute displaying a few festive things don’t you think? We also thought that a couple of the pretty little things pin cushions looked good in here. Check out the finished spider on the fabric Thunderstorm. This fabric is perfect!
The last newsletter that was released had a wonderful new design by Carolyn pictured. But no, that wasn’t your eyes, the picture was horrible. Thought you might like to see what this design really looks like….. This is the “Sisters through time” by Carolyn Standing Webb. It is in stock and the cost is $14.00.
